I think a lot of people don’t really understand online friends. I mean, friendships are based on communication and doing things together and things you have in common, right?
But if there is anything I’ve learned from Twitter and Facebook and various message boards, you can have friends from all walks of life … all backgrounds. Some of my closest friends are totally opposite from me. They grew up way different than I did, they have different opinions, more money, better vocabularies, dissimilar faith. But we have something in common.
It may be cloth diapering, eco-friendly choices, Christian faith, fellow bloggers, taking pictures, or just meeting through other friends.
But my online friends are closer to me than many of my real-life friends.
After all, how often do you get amazing handmade gifts from people that you know in real life?
Thank you, Lindsey.
And thank you, Bekah.
I love you both!

Too cute!!!
You and my other online friends are such a wonderful blessing. I don’t know what I’d do without you.
How thoughtful. What great friends and great hats!
Love back at you!
