Oh, finding peace. Mine must be hidden somewhere under the bed with the cats and dust bunnies. I don’t even know where I find mine anymore, it feels like it’s been so long. :P

Hey chica.

I’ve never checked your blog out before…I’m intrigued. ;) Lovely pictures!

Glad to see you’re feeling better about the whole thing. Just try to remember that you didn’t become a stay-at-home mom so that you could get that extra load of laundry done. Or vacuum one more room. I know I have to remind myself of that daily.
But I feel ya. When things get a bit out of sorts here, I start to feel anxious. I did FlyLady for a while (I know you tried it out, too), but lately that hasn’t been working, either. I just can’t manage the timeline thing. So I checked out simplemom (thanks for the suggestion, BTW), and made new lists for my Home Control Journal today. We’ll see how tomorrow goes, I guess.

Anyway… hang in there! By the look of sheer happiness on Emma’s face, I know you’re doing more in a day than you give yourself credit for.

Jen: I agree. That’s why I have her on my Reader so I can see posts one at a time … if I feel like doing something she does, then great. But if not, I just skim/skip. I really try to remind myself that I only need to do one thing at a time — I will not be her tomorrow or next week or next month or next year.

One step at a time. I like simplemom but sometimes she’s one of those moms I compare myself to. I know she doesn’t claim to have all the answers but boy is she way organized. I do like her simplistic approach…makes it seem more doable.

Love the pic of the bird on a wire. What a fantastic teal blue color!
