So our little winter garden survived the 4-day blanket of snow!
As did our little Emma …
Yep. She is officially out of the high chair and into a booster seat.
I sat across the table from her today, and I was just amazed at how much of a little girl she is now. She’s less than 3 months away from turning two, and while this sounds so cliche, I am taken aback by how quickly it has gone.
She walked around this morning with a plastic phone and had in-depth conversations with all of our family members. Were your ears burning?
She called Macey into the living room yesterday — “Macey! C’mere! Clean up!” some cheese that she had dropped.
She can do all of the actions for the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and we just taught it to her 5 days ago.
Every day brings something new and exciting and fun.
Oh, and messes. We have a lot of messes. Our carpet will never be the same.
But it’s all worth it. Every stain, every mashed in piece of banana, every pile of toys. Totally worth it.

That pick of you feeding a baby Emma illustrates how much she is a little girl and not a baby anymore! Times goes so fast.
