To answer Lisa’s question in my last post [and anyone else who is wondering] …
The E. Woodhouse in my store name stands for Emma Woodhouse — the female heroine in one of my favorite books :: Emma by Jane Austen. And I did name my Emma after it, as well.
I really don’t take lots of pictures of Emma these days, because she is ALWAYS ON THE MOVE!! That girl will NOT sit still for a millisecond. When she sees the camera coming, she usually puts her hand up, and says, “No, no, momma. No pictures,” like the drama queen that she is.
But I caught her after a wonderfully long nap yesterday, and she was somewhat agreeable.
Although, I ended up with about 729 blurry shots in between these.
You know, I tend to complain about bad days more than I praise the good ones – but we have FAR more good moments like these.
She just thrills my soul, and I am so proud to be her momma.

Keli, she’s so beautiful. I love the one in black & white. They’re all gorgeous. I totally know what you mean about them moving around so much, though. I went to visit a girlfriend and her two young children this weekend. They are constantly on the go! I did get a handful of cute ones, but a lot of blurry ones, too. Nice job, though!
So beautiful. These types of posts are my favorites. She’s stunning and your skills are amazing.
Love the b&w one – she looks SO mischievous!
What totally sweet pictures! You are an amazing photographer!
