Emma was so bummed yesterday … and today is looking to be much of the same.
She (and I) would much rather be at the pool!
Or at least sitting in some sunshine …
It kind of worked out, though. I was able to get my desk cleaned off, our Quickbooks account mostly caught up, and some design work finished. And Emma was able to catch up on some Dora and Curious George that she’s been missing since summer started. Hahaha.
We did sit down and color for a while, but then she went wild with the crayons while I went on a bathroom break, and that was the end of that. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I’m planning on painting the walls in our playroom / home office.
In the meantime, I’m getting my fill of eggs and bacon.
And chicken with cheese.
And crackers with jelly.
And waffles with ketchup.
Yummmmm …

I feel just like Emma…wishing the rain away. Emma’s a good cook – I always ended up with the peas and ice cream or cake and cheese combos.
That is so sweet :) I understand, though. Sometimes rain ruins all the sun fun, but that myriad of things she’s cooking probably made up for it. Looove that sun pic!
