It works really well for us. He tends to get overwhelmed when we let him take out too many things at once and then doesn't want to pick up.... and then it takes him FOREVER to pick up! We don't have that cube wall system that you do but we put ours in an Ikea coffee table that has similar cubbies. That’s what we do with our son’s small toys too. It works really well for us.
