in you capture

Well, I love me some macro, but I love it too much. I’ve been on a self-imposed challenge to shoot more pictures using my 40-150mm lens rather than my 50mm which I kind of adore.

But leave it to pregnant Beth to thwart my plans, again.

And I just want to publicly apologize (and not the Kanye West or Chris Brown kind of apology) … so many of you left wonderful comments on my post last week, and I didn’t get around to your blogs. I tend to crawl into a hole when I have a lot on my mind, and I’ve been a little “out of it” for the last week or so.

So, I’ve got to take E to the library right now and then to lunch, but I’ll try to get around to everyone while she naps this afternoon.

Thank you all so so much for the comments, though. xo

Keli – I absolutely love the picture of the leaf with the water drops on it! That is such a pretty picture. I really enjoy all of your pictures and I am envious of your 40-150 lens because I totally opted to buy an external flash before I got tangled up in extra lenses. I would use the lens so much more!

Love these, as always. You should totally do a tutorial about applying the textures. I have a fabulous set, but haven’t really used them yet!

I love macro a little too much too – but if I took pictures like these, I’d never be able to give it up. Great shots. Thanks for sharing!

I adore the white flower shot…you can see the veins so well! Also the pink flower looks like a watercolor….awesome job!

I love these! I love how painterly they look. My favorite, though, is the first one of the leaf because it kind of looks like a heart. And that makes me smile and feel all girly. :) Have fun at the library – one of my all time favorite places to be!

I knew your shots would be amazing. Knew it. You never disappoint, girl. Never.

Can I move in with you so you can teach me EVERYTHING you know? Our kids would get along fabulously, I’m sure.

Everything you shoot turns to gold, lady! Breathtakingly beautiful. Sigh. (That’s a happy, happy sigh, btw)

I got very excited last week when I saw what the challenge was because I *knew* your photos would be amazing.

And I was, of course, correct.

These are breathtakingly beautiful.

I love them all and can see them up in a spa or a clean white huge bathroom. Beautiful.
