Okay, this is a sore subject for me right now. Our autumn is just not showing up. The leaves on the trees are pretty, but then they fall and turn brown in no time at all.
So I don’t have the amazing colors I keep seeing everywhere else … but I’m going to suck it up and enjoy the weather. And tell myself that if I moved up north just for the leaves, I’d complain non-stop about the cold weather.
Hrumph.

I love the macro pictures and even more I love that e matches the color of the leaves. She is beautiful. I hope she’s feeling better.
Beautiful! Love the last one.
And that is why you should move to the Northwest. Gorgeous leaves, and it doesn’t get nearly as cold as it does out East.
But you captured fabulous colors despite Autumn not really cooperating. Love the perspective!
Love that one of Emma walking away from the leaf–but all are great, especially for an uncooperative autumn. :)
You can hrumph all you want, but these are beautiful shots!
And you would definitely hate the cold here after the lovely colors are gone! I do!!!
I’ve been waiting for you to post your photos since this morning.
As much as I hate the super-snowy winters, I could never move away from an Indiana autumn. You may not have all of the colors, but your photos are still breathtaking.
I love the photo where your daughter is blurred out running down the sidewalk with the leaf just sitting there perfectly in focus. :)
Branch shot is great!! Emma running down sidewalk… priceless!
You may not have gotten the colors you had hoped for but, as always, your shots are AMAZING. My favorite is E blurred in the background with the leaf focused at the front. But seriously, they’re all awesome. :)
Oh, you. These are so pretty and if you don’t have lovely colors then you are amazingly good at faking it!
Oh my gosh :) Laughing so hard because of course I do know you! I just didn’t know about your picture site!
Your pictures are so perfect!
