It all started on Monday morning when I lifted Emma into her carseat and did something terrible to my lower back. A lumbar strain, to be exact.
I cannot believe how much that HURT! And then after that, any tiny movement made me want to scream. Which I often did when no one was home.
Monday was mostly spent on the living room floor with occasional visits to the sofa.
Tuesday was spent on the sofa with occasional visits to the Halloween candy bowl.
(well, when your kid looks THIS cute, you end up with a ton of candy)

Today, I was able to get around and do stuff that had been neglected for two days – like dishes and laundry. But if I sit in the same position for a while, especially on a hard chair like I’m sitting on right now, then it screams with pain when I move.
Needless to say, I haven’t been online much in the past couple of days. A little Facebook & short emails because I can do that from my phone or iTouch, but other than that, teeny tiny bits of actual computer work only lasting a few minutes at a time.
So. If you’ve emailed me, I’m sorry if I haven’t been very prompt in responding. I’ll try to get back on track with all of that tomorrow. Or Friday. Or next month.
Okay, I’ll do it whenever I feel like it.
In the meantime, enjoy the soulful stylings of Miss Emma Grace on the empty oatmeal container …

Ouch, that sucks. Still loving the spider costume.
Love the pictures! Hope you’re feeling better soon. Back pain sucks. But you already know that.
Ouch Keli. I’m sorry. Start doing stretches. My husband hurt his back and it was a while before he felt back to his self. He even went to a chiro and was told to start stretching and be mindful of his posture.
Your itsy bitsy spider is so cute.
Yikes!
Hope you feel better soon!

Hope you feel better soon!
I hope you get well very soon.
Love that little spider :)
I am SO sorry to hear about your back pain! I’ve done that, and man, is it a killer! Have you considered seeing a chiropractor? Usually I just go once or twice to correct the problem and manage the pain. They’re not often covered by health insurance, but around here visits run around $40 – not bad considering that your life has to be put on hold until you feel better.
Speaking of – hope you feel better soon!!
hope you’re beginning to feel better, Keli!
oh…that is one cute spider you have there ;)
Go get yourself a big exercise ball when your back feels better to sit on at the computer. I can’t even tell you how much it has changed my life.:)
