in you capture

This week’s You Capture :: Real Life was such a great idea!!

I’ve actually been doing a series similar to this for 18 days … it’s called “31 Peeks into Our Daily Life” and we’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I found myself taking pictures of leaves and trees and me standing on a bench, but I was missing the most important part of my life — the time I spend with my girl.

So this is a way for me to have little reminders of what we do on a daily basis, because this is my real life.

Friday, we played in the leaves …
PB065989

… went to the park …
PB066022

… walked on the balance beam …
PB066016

… and daydreamed a little.
PB066067

Saturday, we hung some stuff up in the new office/playroom …
PB076071

including a new bulletin board that is just for Emma’s artwork.
PB076072

Emma stole Macey’s bone to use as a spyglass …
PB076103

… and then Macey knocked Emma over.
PB076096

Sunday, we visited my parents in Georgia …
PB086172

… walked through the woods …
PB086133

… drove a bulldozer (i’m kidding!!) …
PB086123

… visited the neighbor’s cows …
PB086166

PB086164

… and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over Lake Hartwell on the way home.
PB086193-2

Monday, we looked up.
PB096222

Tuesday, we had a silly day at home …
PB106258

… stayed in our pj’s all day …
PB106229

… and ate turkey dogs and bananas dipped in ketchup for lunch.
PB106276

And Wednesday … we remembered.
PB116418

Did you notice that we didn’t clean? That would be why I’m cleaning all day today.

See how everyone else lives their lives over at You Capture.

every picture is so perfect! And thanks for reminding me to capture the everyday things too. Your daughter is beyond precious. My favorites are the daydreaming and the veterans pic

Love the swing picture…I do have a question, the hotdogs and bananas…Were they both dipped in the ketchup? or just the hotdogs?

These are so perfect I want to punch you. In the nicest possible way. I wish I could dress like Emma and get away with it… striped tights and pigtails are so freaking cute.

What a fun life you have! And what heavenly weather you enjoyed!

And great idea on the bulletin board for Emma’s artwork. But be forewarned, it will be filled all too quickly once school really gets going. Not that I would know or anything (with two kids in school bringing home practically daily artwork!). I’m just sayin’…

Oh wow, I love the daydreaming picture! It really captures daydreaming so well! Makes me want to run in there and daydream too.

(Who am I kidding? I daydream most of the day anyway!)
