Emma is doing so SO great with her stitches. She doesn’t even notice that the band-aid is there (I keep it covered for obvious reasons) and she is still a very normal 2-year old.
A 2-year old who is addicted to vaseline products.
And rubbing said vaseline products all over glass doors.
Business as usual here, folks.
She’ll get her stitches out on Friday morning (by her ped, so I don’t have to take her back to the hospital, thank goodness!) and then we’ll start a daily regimen of vitamin e on her scar.
And even if her scar doesn’t go away, she’ll still be the most beautiful girl in the world.
With saggy pants.

Wow… what a mess!! Emma my dear… I bet that was a lot of FUN!! You could even write your name in that stuff!! Your right Keli….. she is beautiful!! Have a great day!
How do you clean vaseline off windows? Looks like Emma is not letting her booboo slow her down. So much energy in such a tiny body.
Hooray for Emma getting better – what a champ!
So sorry you have/had to clean that mess up – we’ve been there done that, and I’m sure we will be there again someday.
Her Bo and Pappa are praying very hard that she does not have a scar.
Ah the Vaseline. My oldest, when she was just 3, was with us visiting some friends. She went upstairs with their 2 year old. Later we discovered that they had found a rather large tub of the stuff and were putting it on, or should I say in, the carpet! This was a friends’ BRAND new house! Eek! We managed to scrape most of it out, but there are still remnants to this day (6 years later). Another dear friend’s daughter put Vaseline all in her hair. It took about a month before she was finally able to wash it all out. She was quite greasy for a while …
poor sweet little girl :-) my sliding door windows look EXACTLY like that!
and by the way, I have a big ol’ scar by my eye from when I was 5 and my hubby loves it :-)
