After I entered this sleeping picture of Emma for the I ♥ Faces :: Sweet Dreams contest, I snuck into her room yesterday and took some pictures of her while she was napping.
I know, stupid. But she only jumped once (and I hit the deck!)
Funny to imagine how much of a holy terror she is during the day and then watch it all disappear as she sleeps so peacefully.
And then it all comes back within seconds of her waking up.
Speaking of I ♥ Faces (how’d you like that segue?), we won 9th place in the recent I ♥ Tooshies theme contest!! There were so so many adorable entries, I’m completely honored to have ended up anywhere near the top 100 … much less the top 10!
And if you’re actually clicking on those links, you might notice that my beautiful E is the face of the upcoming I ♥ Faces First Birthday photo contest! I will be one of the guest judges, along with some of the other contributors, so start getting your pictures ready — I am sooooo excited about it!
I think the best part of being involved in I ♥ Faces has been the opportunity to “meet” so many people! I’ve gotten to know so many amazing photographers through the site, and I’m absolutely thrilled to know you. I want to get to know you better, so feel free to shoot me an email anytime! I have people regularly email me with Lightroom or Photoshop Elements or random photo questions, and I will always do my best to help answer those questions.
And pretend that I’m an expert … *ahem*
On that note, if you have added me as a Flickr friend or a Twitter friend or a Facebook friend and I haven’t added you back, PLEASE post a comment here or shoot me an email with your screenname. Apparently, if you get a few pictures on Flickr Explore Front Page, people just add you as a contact. They don’t care one iota about you or your images – they just want to up their contact numbers. In that case, I tend to ignore most of my Flickr requests unless it’s a screenname I automatically recognize. So please please please just holler at me, and I’ll add you right away. :)
Well, speaking of sleeping … Emma is not, so I better go get her up and try to beat her at Candy Land. She won twice this morning, and it’s time to take her DOWN.
