Have you ever heard of Parents Connect? It’s a fun website by Nickelodeon that focuses on the joy of being a parent – I love that their tagline is, “We’re not perfect. We’re parents.” So true!
Anyway, they contacted me a few weeks ago to write up a tutorial on taking better photos of your kids, so I did!

My favorite tip is probably to take pictures of the details. My cousin has a multiple picture frame with different detail shots in each section (toes, hands, etc..) of her baby. I know she treasures it now that her baby is 3 and looking more like a little boy.
That was a really nice article. I liked what you said about taking tons of pictures if you’ve got a digital camera. That is so true. It is amazing how you can take 10 photos in succession and one stands out as being much better than the rest.
