I’ll go ahead and email you with this, as well, but just in case someone else is wondering, I sewed a casing. Basically, Sarah left plenty of room in her pattern to sew the casing pretty easily, so I just extended that to fit Emma’s doll. If you have a hard time with the casing, I’d just cut it a little longer to give yourself plenty of room to sew it. Hope that helps!

heya, she doesn’t have that dress pattern pdf on her site anymore, I have a pattern for something similar actually, but have had a hell of a time with the elastic at the neck, how did you do it? Did you make a casing? It’s so tiny I have had a hard time, I tried the “applied” method but had the non-sew type of elastic and didn’t know it. Any tricks?

My mom used to make ALL my doll clothes for me :) Thank goodness I kept them all, so now my daughter plays with them. Because I can’t sew!! My mom is teaching my daughter, though, who just received her very first sewing machine. That way I’ll be surrounded by seamstresses :)
