a butt-kicking lentil bean

by keli on February 3, 2010

Seriously, this little bean inside of me is kicking my butt! So tired. So nauseous. So wanting to barf anytime I see or smell meat or eggs or (sniff, sniff) coffee. (Do you know how many tv programs & commercials show people eating chicken? Ugh.)

But I know this is a good sign, and I’m trying to be thankful for that.

30-365

I hope all is well in your neck of the woods – if I’ve missed any big announcements or news, please feel free to post a link to your blog post here! I’m so far behind, I don’t think my Google reader will get touched anytime soon.

xoxo

Oh no! Not being able to smell coffee? The horror! :) Well, here’s to hoping the nausea passes soon and you get to feeling better quickly. And nausea or no, YAY for little lentil bean! Love, Jade

You poor poor thing. I hope you feel better soon! C’mon second trimester! Course, all through my pregnancy with Baby Soup I kept waiting for that magic second trimester energy….only came AFTER she was born.

Go Little Lentil! You are so loved already!

I know what you mean. It was like that with both girls. Pregnancy was not my favorite thing… though I do miss that slow connection that is created over that time. The, “Its you and me, kid. lets do this together” type feeling.

Hey, nice mitts :D

What if there’s two little lentils? ;p I was so sick with the twins.

Sorry you are getting your butt-kicked. Hopefully, the little one will ease up on you soon!

You just take care of you right now! I missed coffee so much…but three pregnancies at roughly 4-5 months a pop…it’s like an eye blink now. {although it was pretty much hell at the time} We’ll all still be here once you’re back to good! xoxo

Remember how you threw down the gauntlet and said I’d crap out on the 365 photos before you? I’m pretty sure this baby is going to skew things in my favor. GOOD BABY.

Thinking of you! I know that you know this is all worth it. But it doesn’t really make the throw up feeling go away, now does it? (hug)

aw I miss you! I’m sorry your little one is making you sick. I hated the first part of pregnancy. Hated it. But now I’ve forgotten a little bit how terrible it is, so I’m glad you reminded me that I’m not ready to be going through that again yet!

love you girl! Praying for you and your little one!

I’ve been thinking of you. I remember those days – it will pass, I hope quickly for you. I could not stand chicken and I remember having to host Thanksgiving (ugh!). I made my husband prepare the turkey. I know this probably sounds gross but the only food that would settle my belly — McD’s french fries. Maybe that’s why I gained 50 lbs during each pregnancy ;) Take care!

Just do what you can and don’t worry about what you can’t do. Take is easy and eat whatever you feel like you can eat whenever you feel like you can eat it. Love you! Mom

Hope you get better soon! I couldn’t stand fried chicken even in commercials when I was pregnant with both my kids. I still haven’t eaten fried chicken since before my 2 year old was born! So sorry you’re feeling sick.

I love that picture – I recognize the pattern “Fetching” from knitty.com – did you knit that?

Hope you are feeling a bit better soon!
