It was the maternity vitamins that made me sick, I still took them but had to make sure I had lots of food in me.

Love your blog, just started following it. Came to it by way of iheartfaces.

Congratulations on the new baby! How exciting! I loved, loved, loved being pregnant and having my babies (3 baby girls, ages 12, 9 and 6). I had morning sickess with 2 of them and with my middle daughter experienced none. I thought it strange, but learned to enjoy it! Didn't know of the benefits of B6 back then! Glad it's giving you some relief. Enjoy your baby bump and your toddler. So blessed!

Take care,
Ana

I've been sick since around New Years.. why did I not know to try this? I am just like you -- my first two pregnancies didn't make me sick. I had a few days of feeling "eh" with Clark, but I felt amazing with Alice. This time I've been losing weight and the mere thought of food makes me gag. Fortunately it seems to be going away on its own now that I've crossed into the second trimester. I hadn't cooked in like a month! My kids were eating sandwiches and yogurt for dinner every night. I am so so so glad you are feeling better Keli. It really is all encompassing!

I agree with the B6....I took it for a the first few weeks of my pregnancy with Kate cause I was so queasy. My mom(whose a midwife) suggests taking ginger capsules too, you can take a whole ton of them and it really really helps with feeling nauseaus(sp?). Plus, because its capsule form you don't have to taste it....since I am NOT a fan of ginger products. haha..So glad your feeling better!

Glad you've found something that works for you, hon.
I never had nausea issues w/ any of my pgs, so I can't imagine feeling that way all day, every day.
((hugs))

ugh. this post brings tears to my eyes. actually, i'm crying now. i love the pregnancy and babies so very much that i think hyperemesis is God's way of keeping me from having 82 of them. (because, honestly, how can one say they love pregnancy when they've had hyperemesis every time?)
this last pregnancy, i had a Zofran pump. so, i'd poke myself in the leg everyday & Zofran was then administered continuously. it didn't totally take away my vomiting, but it did save my life. (i think literally.)
i'm glad the B6 is working for you and hope you have a wonderful rest of the pregnancy! and i'm so thankful you have a wonderful husband, too. that really is a trying time & i can't imagine doing it w/ a partner who isn't in it, too!
