We’ve raised a kisser. She loooooves to kiss. And if she doesn’t get her required hugs and kisses at bedtime, she will cry until you come back and give them to her (not that we mind!)
The awkward side of this is that we’ve raised a lip-kisser.
She’ll kiss you, all right, but it MUST be on the lips. And I mean, she will grab your face and turn it so that she can lay one on ya. Which is really interesting when she’s kissing people goodbye or kissing her schoolmates. Apparently, the teachers told her she could hug Peyton and Carson, but she can’t kiss them. Germs and all.
I had every intention of trying to get some good kissy-face pictures for this week’s You Capture, but either she or I have been sick for a while, and I just haven’t felt like setting up the tripod and all of that. Sorry, Beth!
But I did grab this shot right before naptime – I was shocked to discover a teeny-tiny baby bump this morning when I got dressed (I guess that’s what happens when you finally change out of sweatshirts and flannel pants) so I was trying to get a picture of it (since I’ve yet to really document anything about this pregnancy) when she just came right over and kissed it.
