in the midst of throwing up a lot, there have been some pretty good things happening around here.
1. saw our little bebe for the first time and fell in love instantly. s/he was wiggling around like crazy, and i saw the heart beating like mad. even though i was certain everything was going fine (due to the fact that this little stinker is kicking my butt!), it was still a relief and answer to prayer to see that s/he is doing just fine.
2. we found a way to not have to pay over $13K to have this baby. i’ll talk more about how we’re doing this over the next 7 months, but i’m just really happy that i have a good friend who is walking me through everything.
3. emma is 95% potty-trained (still wearing diapers overnight, but other than that, done!) i won’t go into details for her privacy, but let’s just say that things aren’t as messy as they once were.
4. bubble wrap can keep a 2-year old busy for a really really long time.
5. so can cutting pictures out of a magazine and gluing them to construction paper.
6. new blog layouts make me happy (click the link if you’re reading this in a reader).
7. spring is coming! spring is coming!!
8. i swept and mopped and folded laundry today. which is kind of a big deal.
