I rarely process in black & white, because I feel like b&w adds a dramatic flair, and I don’t think I take a lot of dramatic pictures.
But this one of Emma looking out the window, waiting for daddy to get home … it needed some drama.
But I also liked it in color.
Go figure.

I usually do a few black and white pictures when I take pictures for my friends because they seem to like them. i prefer color myself as well! : )

Gorgeous. Black and white does seem to add drama… I had to look for serious faces for mine, because it just didn’t seem right to do smiles in black and white!

pretty girl with her big kid hair. is alice going to have big-kid hair at some point? how crazy. i don’t do black and white very often either, though sometimes taking out the color can make confusing image make more sense. sometimes. :)
