Is it already Thursday? Man, this week flew by!
I’ll admit … we’re not playing outside as much as normal, because …
I can’t remember what day that was, but it could be any day these past couple of weeks. So we’ve spent a lot of time inside with play-dough, crayons and coloring books, baby dolls, and My Little Pony’s.
When we ARE outside, you’ll probably find us trying to cool off.
We also hit the playground one evening … 98 degrees at 8pm. *sweat*
And sometimes, she can whine incessantly convince me to take her outside in the morning.
And then I can usually get her to do this …
So it all works out.
The past three days have brought afternoon summer thunderstorms, which we LOVE. The pounding sideways rain … the thunder and lightning … the cooler temps. Yes yes YES!
In the end, we just do our best to have fun no matter what we’re doing.

Beautiful, as always! You managed to do a lot of playing outside in that heat! At least your humidity is low. Around here, we get up to 90 degrees or so, but our humidity is at least 90% and it’s unbearable! And our rain storms don’t necessarily help. We’re enjoying a little respite now, though. 80 degrees with low humidity. It’s heavenly!
I *love* swing pictures. I think it was one of yours that I saw previously that made me want to take more of them. But the sweetness of her face sacked out after a hard of play in the heat? Priceless.

We had rain rain rain and then the heat came. So kind of the opposite! Looks like you are still managing to have fun despite the weather :)

It looks like you are doing a great job staying cool! I really love those swing shots and I recognize and appreciate that it’s not so easy getting low for those shots with 9 weeks to go :) We have the same swimsuit..love it!

2. I am right there with you! Even in Indiana it has been 90s and 100s. I took a photo of my car thermometer the other day because it said 106. I think it was really only like 103… but COME ON.

my kids really want one of those buzz lightyear sprinkler thingys! But we have two other ones, so they’ll just have to make do with a crayon sprinkler and a caterpillar one :)
