I’ve never understood the show on TLC called I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant. I’ve honestly never even sat and watched an entire episode because the re-enactments are so silly. Plus, I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there are people out there who have no idea they are pregnant. I’m sure one of my readers is going to tell me how they or a friend / cousin / sister / aunt / mom didn’t know they were pregnant until they delivered a baby on the toilet, but it’s still totally mind-boggling to me.
Needless to say, I am not a front runner for this show …
*ahem* She moves A LOT.
Sorry about the quality. And the crazy loud buzzing 12 seconds in … I was recording with my Blackberry, and it was notifying me of an email at the same time.

Oh my goodness, you have a mover and a shaker there. She should have no problem keeping up with Emma :) Great video!

That video is so cool. I remember mine doing that, so well. It’s CRAZY.
I sometimes watch that show for the sheer comedy of it. The reenactments are awful. I don’t get it either…I don’t care how overweight one might be, how can you NOT notice that movement? That is NOT GAS. One reenactment I saw involved a woman who had the horrible pains, etc, and got to the emergency room, she was in the process of getting on the gurney and she said, “Ohmygosh, something just fell out of me!” Then the nurse cut open her pant leg and gasped in horrible acting form and said, “You just had a baby…in your pants.”
Oh, I remember that so well! I loved watching my boys move across my belly! I didn’t so much love getting jabbed in the ribcage or bladder, but you have to take the bad with the good! :)
Ha ha! My wife is seven months pregnant, and believe me, she knows it!

wow, is she active!
I didn’t know I was pregnant with jaina for almost 2 months, but I think that’s pretty common with first babies :) I kept thinking my period was going to start any moment because my feet hurt, I was so tired, and my breasts were swollen. Imagine my surprise when my period never did start!

WOW! What a little mover! Oh my goodness this totally melts me!
Goodness she is active! That’s the ONE thing that I miss is feeling the little body tumbling inside. Oh, and I’ve never gotten that show and can’t watch it either!

I miss those belly waves of baby moving. It was most pronounced with my first. I loved watching my belly dance all on its own accord.

omg! I’m so glad I’m not the only one with a crazy alien baby inside her! haha That’s exactly how my stomach looks (except usually more on the right side ;) heh) I will never, ever be able to wrap my mind around someone NOT KNOWING they are growing a human being inside of them full-term. I mean: SERIOUSLY. how do you NOT KNOW???

You almost make me miss being pregnant.
And I’ve always thought the whole idea of not knowing you were pregnant was absolutely INSANE.
Here’s your I knew someone… my cousin swears she didn’t know she was pregnant until she was 8 months along.
Bullfreakinhonkey I say.

This is the same cousin that swears she didn’t actually have intercourse when she got pregnant. As a matter of fact, her undergarments were still in place on their body.

bah! Sorry about the two comments.
I posted the first and tried to catch it in time, because I had to share the amazing story of immaculate conception apparently running in my family.

Wow..your video really brings me back to those crazy late pregnancy kicks and rolls..I can almost feel it while watching that! I haven’t heard of that show..but seriously, how ridiculous, how could anyone not know. I get it for the first few months..but once baby starts to move. You would have to be pathetically out of touch with your body to not know.

Oh my gosh this looks like a scene from the movie Alien right before the creature bursts out of the guys belly. LOL
I’m almost 19 weeks pregnant (with my first). I’m just starting to feel little nudges once and a while, I can’t imagine having that much movement! So cool!

Oh, gee… that brings back a ton of memories!! I had a mover and shaker like that too, and found it so fascinating. Me & the hubby thought it was better than tv. ;p
As for the tv show, I thought it was bull too, until I met an online scrapbooking friend who told me the story of her daughters’ birth, and how she didn’t know she was pregnant until she went into the hospital with stomach pains, and ended up with a baby. LOL! Incredible, but very true… ;)

That is the coolest thing! I pray I will get to experience that someday. I think those “i didn’t know i was pregnant” stories are mind-boggling as well, how can you not know?!

I love this! I never saw movement like that during my pregnancy (but my daughter was born 5 weeks early, so maybe I would have closer to full term) – but of course I could feel her moving all the time! While I imagine you could go a few months without knowing you were pregnant, I definitely can’t believe people can show up at the hospital at 9 months and not know they are about to have a baby.
Oh my goodness! Where does she think she’s going?! Now I wish I had recorded this at least once! I loved being pregnant (all 4 times)!
I loved Vanessa’s “bullfreakin’honkey” comment! lol
