There is really no other reason for this post other than to talk about the cute that is Lucy.
I recently had someone [that I barely know] email me to tell me that I obviously favor Emma over Lucy b/c I talk more positively about Emma as a baby than I do about Lucy.

I needed that laugh.
After all, I am so tired from being up all night with the baby that I don’t love.
Clearly, she is so distraught after being mistreated, she can’t even function.
She really needs love.

Poor poor thing. Someone hurry up and give her a hug!

Listen, I know all about crazy emails. I get some after some of the interviews I post with people COMPLAINING about who I interview! In my head, I am thinking, these people are CRAZY! Who cares who I interview and if you don’t like their style, CLICK AWAY! I try to write back nicely. I do grit my teeth though.
You love both your girls. I can see it in every post.

I hope that was an April Fool’s Joke email. Everyone who has kids knows that it is impossible to have a favorite. We merely just have different experiences with them. You are at a different phase with Emma than with Lucy. Emma is talking and interacting with you. Lucy is still a baby. Of course you have more to blog about with Emma than Lucy, although she is adorable. I love your blog and your photos! I’m glad to see the email didn’t get you down.
BTW, if I ever have a girl, Emma is going to be her name. :)

Oh I am so glad someone emailed you about that. I mean, it’s so obvious! You never feed her either. Or play with her or wear her or change her diaper. Clearly you do not love her at ALL!
I may need to come take her off your hands….at least for just a little bit. I’ll give her back, I promise, if only because I could not go dairy free….I had to give up caffeine for my little one and that was okay, but after giving birth to Avi and no longer being lactose intolerant, I can’t go dairy free. maybe she should just find another blog to read. I think that some people are just so
miserable with thier own life that when they see someone who is happy they just want to
spread thier misery. GRRR!!
