Can I just say that I love my life?

project 365 - may 8

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

project 365 - may 9

My goodness, I am so blessed.

project 365 - may 10

I have an amazing hubby who stayed home with 2 girls [one being fed momma-milk from a bottle regularly for the first time in her life!!] while I went gallivanting off to Texas … and did not complain one time. Me? I complain almost daily when he gets home from work.

project 365 may 11 10:46am

I have two daughters who are just the light of my life. My heartbeats. Pieces of my soul.

project 365 may 12 8:21pm

We have all of our needs met and more.

project 365 - may 13 112pm

We truly enjoy spending time together.

project 365 may 15 1203pm

My immediate and extended family are all amazing … I actually like my in-laws!

project 365 may 14 101pm

The Rapture didn’t happen, so I get to spend even more time on earth with my lovelies.

project 365 may 16 836am diptych

I have healthy babies.

project 365 - may 18 752am diptych

Really, I just couldn’t ask for two more perfect daughters.

project 365 - may 19 312pm

I had an amazing opportunity to work with some phenomenal photographers in San Antonio.

project 365 - may 20 1226pm

I made it back home to my family in one piece.

project 365 - may 22 154pm

I have the privilege to be able to stay home with my girls. And I totally “get” how unbelievably lucky I am to have this opportunity.

I get to stay home as well. And I feel so lucky for it. But some days I complain. I think we all do, don’t we? I heard a quote not too long ago that resonated with me. “The days are long, but the years are short”. My son turned one a few weeks ago and though each day during this long, long, long winter felt more like 2 or 3, I still can’t believe a whole year has already passed since he arrived on the scene.

It’s awesome to take the time to enjoy and celebrate the everyday. Your post today reminded me to do just that. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing all these shots; my favorite kind; the everyday.
The one with the matching bandaids after vaccinations made my heart trip and fall.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

I really like this post.
And even though I have chosen to work (and my kids are all in school full time now anyway), I think that often we need to make peace with where we are. It is so easy to complain about the little things. But, our blessings are huge.
