So sometimes, when I’m really bored and have nothing else to do, I take pictures. I know. It doesn’t happen often, but yeah … I break out the camera on rare occasions.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Ha.
You know I take LOADS of pictures. And [spoiler alert: I’m going to name drop in 3 … 2 … 1 …] in my recent I Heart Faces photographer interview, I was asked if I have photos displayed all over the house. My response was …
Oh how I wish I could change the answer to this, but no. I have a total of 6 pictures of my girls displayed in our house. And 4 of those are collage frames with terrible pictures that I took of teeny tiny baby Emma. She’s almost four now. Lucy is in a grand total of one picture, and she’s eight months old. Second child syndrome is alive and well in our household, folks. But I do have about 12 empty frames, if that counts for anything!
I’m so embarrassed, really. BUT every time Emma is feeling neglected, I can just point and say, “Do you see your sister’s picture hanging on our walls? No!!!! See? You’re still our favorite! Now, go to your room so that I can play with Lucy!” [I’m kidding … that doesn’t happen. Often.]
So when Easy Canvas Prints asked if they could send me a canvas, I said, “YES!!” … pretty emphatically, I might add.
And when I got back from vacation, I had the most beautiful canvas of Miss Lucy Goosie waiting for me.
My review is simple – I love it. I love them. I love everything. The end.
But seriously …
- the ordering process was extremely simple … if a website sends me through 9 million steps to get something ordered, I may not go back, simply because I am usually on the computer during short nap breaks, so I want things done and done.
- the ordering process was very visual – it was just 4 steps, and each option had a visual representation, so I knew what to expect for each choice. For example, I didn’t want to crop my photo, so I opted for the “gallery wrap” in a color that blended into my image. I had no idea what this would look like, but they gave me a full visual of it. [They also had mirror image, which looked awesome, as well! And then a wrap-around option, which would be great if you didn’t mind losing a little of your photo. I would totally do that on any of my wide-angle shots.] I used Photoshop to pull the exact hexidecimal color code to match, and it was spot on.
- they were FAST. I ordered it, and within a week, the FedEx guy placed it gently onto my front porch.
- it came completely ready to hang. Let me say that again – COMPLETELY READY TO HANG OUT OF THE BOX! Can I get an AMEN!?!? All I had to do was measure, mark, nail and hang. Oh guys, this is huge. I have a canvas that has been sitting here for over 3 months, because I haven’t put the little grippy doo-hickey into the back. That was not a problem with Easy Canvas Prints.
Ready. To. Hang.
And last but not least, it is beautiful. And the exact perfect size for what I wanted to do with it.
Now, every time I walk into the door, I can say, “Hi, Lucy!!” Now, I just need one of Emma for the other side.
Or maybe just 3 or 4 more to hang in the front hall … … …
Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process and product.
In fact, I am so happy, I asked if they would pleeeeease let me give an 8×10 canvas to one of you! [Of course, they agreed because they are awesome like that.]
To enter to win your very own 8”x10” canvas, all you have to do is …
Leave a comment on this post telling me where you would hang YOUR photo canvas.
That’s it!
If you want additional entries (why not, eh?) then you can do any or all of the following …
- tweet about this giveaway and post a comment on this post to let me know
- blog about this giveaway and post a comment on this post to let me know
- facebook about this giveaway and/or “like” Easy Canvas Prints on facebook and post a comment on this post to let me know
Each comment you leave is an entry, so you can end up with a total of FIVE entries! Now go forth and spread the word! [Or don’t … maybe you will be the only one to enter and no one else will ever know!]
I will close down the comments on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00pm EST and will then use the random number generator to choose one lucky winner.
Good luck!!

Oh, man I LOVE that canvas! I’ve been wanting to do one of Hayden, but just haven’t taken the time yet (heck, I haven’t even taken the time to fill out her baby book . . . poor kid). Let’s see . . . if I won, I would put it in our living room between the window and the front door (that is NEVER used). Like you, I love the fact that it’s ready to hang. Now let me go like this place on Facebook right NOW! :)
I’d get a canvas to hang above my fireplace.
Thanks for the opportunity!

I think I would hang it in my bedroom. I just finished hanging up a gallery wall of photos of my kids in our living room, so now I need to hang a few of the hubs and me. :) P.S. Can you do a post on the hexidecimal color code info? I’m a photoshop newbie, and I feel like this could be the answer to getting my printed photos to look like they do on my computer!
I have been itching to get something on canvas! I would hang a photo of my little guy on the wall in my room to finally get the photo wall of my dreams started! Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I would probably give this as a gift for my mother. All she has are little 4×6′s of her only grand son sitting on their piano. I would probably suggest hanging it on the bottom of her stairs.

Um, I live in a studio apartment, so I would hang it in my room. You know, the only room. HA! :-) I’ve made the best of my iddy bitty space by covering the walls in photos that make me happy, so this would be perfect!
I have this sort of half-wall that is part of both my living room and dining room and in the years we’ve lived here I have just never known what to do with this wall. So I would love to get a canvas and hang it right there! And thanks for the review, it’s very nice to hear about a good option for canvas wraps. I’ve been wanting to get a canvas for a while now, but the picture does not have the room available to wrap around the canvas so it’s great to know about the option to get a gallery wrap in a complementary color without losing any of the photo.
OMG!! I want one!!
I got so excited I forgot to tell where I would hang it!! It would certainly go in our living room for EVERYONE to see!!

totally understand – child #1 = filled out baby book fairly well through 22 mo when child#2 came along….filled that book through about six months, in spurts until….child#3 came along and I haven’t even written her name in her book, tho at least I have one! It would be so hard to decide about this canvas, if I picked one kid I would feel like I was choosing faves however I have an awesome pic of littlest’s toes in a bubble bath that would be awesome for my master bathroom!

Ack! This reminds me of #17 and 18 on my list of things to do….17 – Print photos for Frames (bought in December) and 18- Hang Frames. My home is the same – no photos of my girls anywhere!

I’m WAY behind in the picture-framing department. I have a 6-photo collage frame hanging with only 2 photos filled. One framed photo of my oldest son’s 8th grade school picture (he’s now going into his senior year in high school). One framed photo of my daughter (now 8 years old), taken when she was 1 year old. And a (fairly) recent one of my youngest son – his kindergarten school picture (and he just finished kindergarten). Ha ha ha!
Love the photo you used for your canvas. Adorable! :)

I would absolutely LOVE a canvas print of my boys together for the foyer wall!!! love your blog AND your photos!!!
I did a portrait shoot with my friend and her sisters just for fun. They haven’t the funds to order a canvas wrap, so this would really be handy!
I would hang my canvas above my night stand~perfect spot!
Awesome!
I’d get a canvas of the new “Choose My Plate” guidelines (they did away w/ the food pyramid. Did you know that?!) for my dining room. I’ve grown very tired of telling the kids that they need to eat their vegetables. This shows them exactly how much they need to eat. :) Think it’ll work?
We are moving into a new house next week so I would hang it there! Not entirely sure where yet specifically, but I’m thinking about a big photo collage in the living room.
I would hang it in her little space, her nook, in my old bedroom. It would be one of her…maybe a newborn, maybe walking, but her.
depending on what picture i end up choosing it would either hang in our (coming any day now) baby’s room or in the recently rearranged living room :)
I’d love to hang it in our entry way so everyone could see it when they walked in!
My dining room is just screaming for a few photos on the walls – OK, maybe my entire house is screaming but since I have to narrow it down…

We’re determined to have everything on the walls in this house be of something really meaningful to us. I have been dreaming of putting up a picture that I took of the NYC skyline at a friends wedding in our living room. Hanging it on a canvas would be a perfect way to show where we came from.

I would NOT put it in the dog house, the doll house, or the out house! lol
easy sounds perfect :)
I would put it in my studio. (the room where I keep my photography and crafting stuff but “studio” makes me sound like I do something important huh?!)
