Since Emma’s class is having their Valentine’s Party tomorrow, and since I am bringing pizza for the party, I only have two lunches this week.
Monday
teddy bear turkey + mustard sandwich; sour cream & onion pirate’s booty [she didn’t like it]; slice of cheese, cinnamon toast crunch and strawberries in an Easy Lunchbox
Wednesday
bear strawberry cream cheese sandwich [I didn’t realize I did two bear sandwiches this week!]; parmesan goldfish crackers – because bears eat fish, haha!; half a banana w/ princess stickers and a few grapes that she requested in this two-tier bento box
A few things I’ve noticed – I need to get more scrapbook paper. I need to quit letting Emma pick out her chips/crackers at the store, because she NEVER likes new things. She takes after her momma that way. We need to branch out into different fruits.

Awwwwwwwwwww. That is so cute. I think any mother that takes the time to cut a sandwhich into a bear is a good mother indeed : ) I hope the party is fun. I can’t believe Valentines Day is on Tuesday. May love be abundant in your weekend. XO

Lest you think I am more awesome than I actually am … it’s a cookie cutter. It requires NO talent whatsoever. ;) xxoo
So cute! Emma is one lucky lady. That is really such a cute idea.

the director of the school actually told me to tell her assistant about Emma’s lunches, lol. so funny how much attention they are getting!
This is totally off topic but I was interested in your babywearing link on the side of your blog and saw the post back in June of last year where you were selling all your baby wraps/slings. I hope you kept some of them since baby boy is on his way! :)
I did sell them all. :/ I will have to get one or two for the new baby. Aww shucks, shopping for wraps. ;)
You really inspired me to be creative with my kids’ school lunches. Now I’m getting addicted to bento boxes too and my kids love it! Keep posting:)
So awesome!! I hope they are enjoying them :)
Every week I see these posts and think “I need to get those Bento boxes. Yet I haven’t! Lol
DO IT!! ;)
Your bento boxes have inspired me to make my son’s breakfast (he takes to preschool) a little more fun. Thanks for showing how Mommy can be different without it being to complicated. Terrific!
yay, so glad this helped!! I try to make things fun, yet easy.
I’ve not seen sour cream & onion pirate booty…I think I have to agree with Emma on that.

she BEGGED for it at the store – I had a feeling she wouldn’t like it, but it wound up in our cart anyway, ha. lesson learned!
I crack up like a little kid every time I read “pirate booty”.
you haven’t posted for awhile-hope all is well
I love the stickers on the banana! You, with your awesome lunch ideas!
p.s. have you tried the “cuties” oranges with her? My kids LOVE those!
