I have always wanted to do a whole day in photos, but I never remember until after lunch or something. I actually didn’t decide to do this yesterday until about half-way through our day, but I document a lot from my phone, so it wasn’t hard to fill in the blanks. I didn’t get everything we do, because … duh … boring.
But here is a typical day for us …
It starts out with Ken usually waking me up before he goes to the shower, and I go and crawl into bed with Emma to gradually wake her up. Some days, we cuddle too long, and then it’s a rush to get her and Ken out the door to get her to school before the drop-off line gets too long. Yesterday was one of those days, so I didn’t get any pictures of her before she headed off to school.

I belong to a parenting board and every year or so, we do a “Day in the life of” where we bring our cameras with us all day long and document all that we do. Its so fun to learn about our internet friends beyond what they typically post :)

Thanks for sharing Kelli! Its so nice to see what another mom of three’s day is like. That drop off line is incredible! As in incredibly LONG!!!
That’s the pickup line, but they do it in shifts for the safety of the kids – so we all drive up in a long line and then stop, then all the kids for that group gets in their car. then that group drives away after all of the kids are in the cars, and the other shift drives up. it seems like it would take a long time, but I’m usually in and out in 15 minutes.
Oh, I LOVE this. Maybe I’ll be a copycat and do it this weekend?
