Emma is a very independent toddler. She’s also very stubborn. And impolite.
Today, Jessie was laying under the bedroom window, and Emma walked over and started beating on her, which is par for the course. Jessie just takes it.
But then Emma crawled behind Jessie, reached up under her, and pushed and grunted and pushed and grunted until Jessie got up and moved.
Then, Emma clapped and said, “Yay!”
She needs a lesson in manners.

We took Emma on her first hike this past Saturday. It was the perfect weather, and we had a wonderful time. Although, I have never been more aware of how out of shape I am. Phew.

Ken’s at the first USC football game in Columbia, Emma’s asleep, and I should be cleaning. But I’m so far behind in posting that I need to just do a massive photo dump and then come back later and post an update.
